PCB Design (PCB Editor)

Route traces, check design rules (DRC), export a 1:1 PDF and Gerber files to manufacture a real board.

Resetting Wires / Resetting the Whole PCB

Resetting 1 wire

In the "Wire Properties" panel: click Reset to Straight Line — this only clears the route of the currently selected wire.

Resetting the whole board

  1. Click Reset PCB.
  2. A confirmation dialog: "This clears the current route of every wire on the board (including manually routed ones) and removes all jumpers (restoring the original wires in the Diagram), returning to ratsnest. Component positions are kept."
  3. Cancel or Reset.

Result: every wire returns to ratsnest, every jumper is removed, and the original wires in the Diagram are restored. Module position/rotation/lock state is not affected. Afterward, click Auto Route again to route everything from scratch.

Example

After a lot of manual editing leaves the board messy, click "Reset PCB" to return to a clean state (only ratsnest remains, module positions are preserved), then click "Auto Route" to re-route from scratch using the already-arranged module layout — faster than manually untangling every wire.
