Welcome to IoTLabs Maker. By accessing, registering an account, or using any feature of the platform, you agree to comply with the Terms of Use below. Please read them carefully before continuing to use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using IoTLabs Maker, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of this document, please stop using the service.
2. Service Description
IoTLabs Maker is a platform for the Vietnamese maker community, helping users learn, practice, and share technology projects, particularly in IoT and embedded hardware.
The platform may provide features such as:
* A visual circuit-diagram design tool;
* A system for creating, managing, and sharing IoT projects;
* A space for exchanging knowledge about ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and related hardware platforms;
* Documentation, technical lessons, and a learning-materials library for makers.
3. User Accounts
3.1. Account Registration
When registering an account, you agree to:
* Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;
* Not create multiple accounts for fraud, abuse, or to disrupt the system;
* Only use the service if you are 13 or older, or meet the minimum age required under applicable law.
3.2. Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify IoTLabs Maker if you discover or suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not responsible for damages arising from your failure to protect your account information.
4. User Content
4.1. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload to IoTLabs Maker, including projects, descriptions, images, documents, comments, or other content.
By uploading content to the platform, you grant IoTLabs Maker a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to store, display, distribute, and share that content for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the service.
4.2. Prohibited Content
You may not post, share, or distribute content that:
* Infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights;
* Contains malware, spyware, malicious links, or content that harms the system;
* Is advertising, spam, or unauthorized solicitation;
* Is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or incites violence;
* Violates Vietnamese law or other applicable regulations.
IoTLabs Maker reserves the right to remove violating content without prior notice.
5. Acceptable Use
When using IoTLabs Maker, you agree not to:
* Collect, crawl, or scrape data without authorization;
* Attack, exploit vulnerabilities in, or disrupt the system's operation;
* Create fake accounts or impersonate another individual or organization;
* Use the service for commercial purposes without prior consent or a separate agreement with IoTLabs Maker;
* Interfere with other users' experience.
6. Intellectual Property
The logo, brand name, interface, source code, documentation, design content, and other assets related to IoTLabs Maker are owned by us or our lawful licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, or use these assets for commercial purposes without prior written permission from IoTLabs Maker.
7. Limitation of Liability
IoTLabs Maker is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We strive to maintain a stable service but do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
To the extent permitted by law, IoTLabs Maker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
8. Suspension or Termination of Accounts
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if we discover a violation of these Terms of Use, or conduct that harms the system, other users, or IoTLabs Maker's legitimate rights.
You may also stop using the service or request account deletion per the platform's current policy and process.
9. Changes to These Terms
IoTLabs Maker may update or revise these Terms of Use over time to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements, or operational needs.
When there is a material change, we may post a notice on the platform or through another appropriate channel. Your continued use of the service after the terms are updated constitutes your agreement to the new version.
