Configuring power

Under "Power":

  1. Click to choose one of the preset voltage levels: 3.3V / 5V / 9V / 12V / 24V, or
  2. Type a custom value into the "Custom" field — only the format x.xV is accepted (1 digit after the decimal point), e.g. 7.4V or a voltage range like 3.3V-5.5V.

Result: If the format is entered incorrectly, the field shows a red border and an error message "Invalid format — only x.xV (1 digit after the decimal) is accepted..."; the field automatically clears when you leave it while the value is still invalid.

Uploading module images

Under "Images":

  1. Click the *"Front Image " field (required) → choose an image file to upload.
  2. (Optional) Click the "Back Image" field to add a back-side image.
  3. (Optional) Under "Other Images", click the "+ Add Image" field to add up to 5 additional images.

Result: the uploaded image is immediately shown as a thumbnail (with a small ✕ button in the corner to delete and replace it), and the preview panel on the right shows this image on the module node.

Required: The front image is a required field — if it's missing, clicking Save will show the error "Missing front image (required)" and the module won't be saved.

Specifications & Datasheet (optional)

  • "Full Specifications (optional)": a rich-text editor field to record detailed specs, usage notes, etc.
  • "Datasheet Documents (PDF)": drag/select PDF files to attach — up to 5 files max, with a total size limit of 10 MB. If exceeded, the system shows the corresponding error ("You can attach a maximum of 5 PDF files", "Total datasheet size cannot exceed 10 MB", or "Only PDF files are accepted" if you choose the wrong file format).

Example

The "DS3231 RTC" module operates in the 3.3V-5V range: click "Custom", type 3.3V-5.5V; upload a top-down photo of the real module's front side; attach the file DS3231-datasheet.pdf so that later users of this module can review the original specs without having to search for them online.
